Notes:

  1. This is the qualifier for the 2025 NCGA 2-person Best Ball (or “Four Ball”) tournament.  The top three teams in our event will advance to the sectional round, which will be played May 2026, if the usual schedule holds.  If you win the sectional, you go on to play in the Finals at Poppy Hills in June.

  2. All players regardless of age are eligible to advance.

  3. The top three teams team will get a cash prize.

  4. Guests are welcome to play, but only teams where both players are current Club members can qualify for the NCGA event and win prize money.  We suggest you bring your guest as a third player in addition to your two-player team.

  5. Single players are encouraged to sign up and we will try to pair you with another single.  If we can't put you on a team you can still play, but not compete for prize money.

  6. All players, guests and singles included, are eligible to win Closest To Pin awards.

  7. 85% handicaps will be used for the competition.  No other handicap adjustments will be used.

Drop Rule on Hole 16

If you hit into the marsh on hole #16, walk across the bridge and drop just to the right of the bridge on the fairway, as shown in the picture below.  This area is sometimes marked as a drop zone and sometimes not, but our Club always uses it as a drop zone.  This is a one-stroke penalty, so you will be hitting your third shot from the drop zone.
