How to Fill Out a Scorecard
This guide should help you fill out scorecards at Keysight Golf Club tournaments. All our tournaments use a similar format for the scorecard.

At our tournaments you will be asked to give your card to another player in your foursome who will fill it out for you as play proceeds. The person filling out your scorecard is the MARKER.
The Marker will enter your scores as you report them after each hole. The Marker will enter your score in the area marked "Player." PLEASE ENTER GROSS SCORES ONLY (the actual number of strokes played for each hole) WITH NO ADJUSTMENTS.
A line is also provided on each scorecard for the Marker to write his or her own score for each hole. This line is labelled "Marker".
Using the Marker line for your own score allows you to compare YOUR score with what your Marker is writing down. This should be done after every 2 or 3 holes to make sure that you and the Marker agree on your scores while each hole is fresh in your mind.

In the example scorecards above, Cory is the player and Hal is the Marker on the top card and Hal is the player and Cory the Marker on the bottom card. On Cory's card, Hal has filled out Cory's score for each of the first three holes and his own score for each of the first three holes. On Hal's card, Cory has filled out Hal's score for each of the first three holes and his own score for each of the first three holes. Hal and Cory can then compare scorecards and make sure they agree before continuing on to the 4th hole.

At the end of the round, Hal and Cory each sign both scorecards and turn them in. Don't sign your scorecard until you and your Marker agree, as once signed the cards are final!
