4-Person 2-Best Ball NCGA Qualifier

Here are the details:

  • Foxtail North Golf Course 

  • Cost: $73 with cart & range balls, no walking rate.  You can walk but will pay the full rate.

  • Format:  4-person 2-Best Ball* â€‹

  • Sign up in 4-person teams OR sign up as a single (or 2 or 3-person groups) and we will try to place you on a team

  • Prizes for top finishers

  • Closest-to-pin prizes on par 3's

  • Prizes will be distributed electronically

  • No guests for this one as it is a NCGA qualifier

  • Get cart in clubhouse

  • Get scorecards from Marshall

  • Play from the Whites, as it is a qualifier

  • Play the ball down

  • WE WILL POST SCORES

Winning team of this qualifier advances to the NCGA Associate Club Championship Sectional Qualifier (Windsor GC - August 8)

Sectional winners advance to the finals Aug. 25-26 at Bayonet/Blackhorse.

* What is 4-person 2-Best Ball?

This format is a competition among 4-person teams. Each golfer hits his own ball throughout the round but after each hole, the two best scores amongst the team members are recorded and count as the scores for the whole team for that hole. After the round is completed the scores are added up and the total will represent the score posted by that team.
